Doris Reed, L.Ac. graduated from Bastyr University with a Masters degree in Acupuncture and Eastern Medicine. She interned at several clinics in the Seattle area: the Bastyr Center for Natural Health, Rainier Park Clinic, Carolyn Downs Medical Clinic, Harborview International Clinic, and Evergreen Treatment Center. In 2008 she received her National Acupuncture Detoxification Association certification. She has also traveled to Shanghai to study with the Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Doris is a Diplomate with the NCCAOM and a member of the Washington Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Association. Additional studies include Acutonics®, craniosacral therapy, and feng shui.

Born in Grand Junction, Colorado, Doris and her family soon moved to the Pacific Northwest. She spent the remaining years in various areas of Washington. A typesetter for 23 years, she decided to change her career in 2003. Doris presently practices at her clinic in Aberdeen, Washington. When she is not helping clients experience a greater sense of well being, she can be found in her garden or joining her wonderful husband at the beach. Outside of the office Doris volunteers with the Ocosta Recreation Hall. She enjoys hiking, cooking, and martial art activities such as Qi Gong, Tai Chi, yoga and Japanese-style swordsmanship.

Theresa Janke

Office Manager/Billing Specialist

Theresa has worked for Reed Acupuncture since June 2011. She has enjoyed learning all aspects of the business as well as getting some acupuncture herself. Theresa got her billing certificate in 2008 and is quite knowledgable about most insurances and what is covered. For the most part, Theresa is the person you will first see behind the desk when you walk in and is eager to try and answer all of your questions that you may have about acupuncture and your insurance.

When not at work she and her husband belong to the Test of Time Car Club showing many of their old cars. Theresa also does alot a yard work and gardening to make their property beautiful and inviting. When not at home or work Theresa loves garage saleing and auctions looking for rusty gold, and also is a pool player playing in the many leagues throughout the year in the Grays Harbor area.
